Is this a Victory Motorcycle Only event?
While we like for our attendees to ride the best motorcycle on the planet, we welcome all riders. Our event is the same weekend as the USRiderNews Reunion Run so there will be thousands of bikes in Helen during our event. Plenty of folks with all different brands.
Is this a Victory corporate event?
No. We are in no way affiliated with Polaris Industries. We are simply a group of Victory enthusiasts that enjoy riding some of the best roads in the USA! We also enjoy socializing and partying with some of the best folks around. We do appreciate any support Victory gives us however
Where does the money from the rally go?
The Southeast Victory Rally has always been a non-profit event with the sole purpose of raising money for charity. Every penny taken in by the rally goes toward the operation of the event and the charity.
Do I have to register?
While we don’t require registration to attend the festivities at the host hotel, we do require registration for the dinners, t-shirts, event pins, patches, scheduled rides and more. Remember, all the money goes to charity.
What is the cancellation policy on event registration?
Registrations may be cancelled for a full refund BEFORE May 1st. After May 1st, all shirts, food, goodies and rally expenses are paid with your registration money. Being a non-profit event that donates all above and beyond money to the charity, we work on a very tight budget.
What else is there to do in Helen?
Helen is a family oriented tourist destination surrounded by some of the best riding in the country. However, there is plenty to do in and around Helen other than just riding. Visit a winery, float down the river, take a helicopter ride, check out a waterfall or have fun shopping in this Bavarian town. Also there are some really good places to eat as well in Helen. Do I have to be a member of a club to attend?
No. Our only requirement is that you have a passion for Victory Motorcycles. However, the group of guys that founded the rally are members of The Victory Motorcycle Club. (http://www.thevmc.com) You should really check the club out if you want more info about Vics.
Where do I stay in Helen?
Country Inn and Suites is our host hotel. This hotel usually fills up pretty quickly. Helen is full of hotels and cabins for rent. Check your favorite travel site for deals in and around Helen. You may also check VRBO.com for cabin rentals.
Do I have to stay at the host hotel to have fun?
No! We have events going on all the time at various places in and around Helen. You can stay anywhere in the area and party at the host hotel. Helen is a small town. Most are within walking distance.
Are there any group rides?
Yes and no! There are no planned group led rides that we provide. We do however provide recommend routes to take in order to experience the area. Also, many riders group together and take off each day. We can surely point you in the right direction and help find you a group. The rally is just too large for us to organize a group ride though the mountains.
Will I be able to buy parts and accessories for my Victory while in Helen?
Yes! Most of our vendors bring parts and accessories to sell and also do installation on-site.
Are credit cards accepted at the rally?
Yes! We take credit cards for additional purchases. Most vendors now take card. In addition, there are plenty of ATM machines around Helen.
Is this a kid friendly event?
We like to think so but every parent has a different tolerance. During the events (meals, music etc.) kids do attend. At night, the parties can get a bit more “adult”
